Interesting stats re mobile devices
Posted a video on youtube and it got quite a few views on the first day.
Interesting part is that over 80% of the views were from mobile devices. I have never experienced that before on a video. Usually mobile is 20 to 35% - however in the last 6 to 12 months that number has been steadily increasing. |
Mobile traffic is growing by leaps and bounds for sure! :pimp

I remember so many people in 2009 who were convinced mobile was just a fad and would pass. 3 years on, everyone is raving about it. I'm glad we got in early at PIMPROLL and made the most of it. Only us Topbucks and Brazzers were really buying up the traffic.
It's evolving fast tho, way faster than desktop ever did. Tons of traffic to be had. |
Tons of traffic to be bought as well, if you're interested I have plenty of premium mobile traffic for sale :)
|
Everything I've done (which hasn't been much) has been mobile related and at some points, it was almost like it was 2001 again.

Mobile devices are become more enabled to do more things ... a natural progression,

I know youtube only allows certain videos to be viewed by mobile because bandwidth would just be that much worse.
It used to be you'd get a cruddy video if you were connected to the cellular network (3G) on your phone and get good video when on wifi. This isn't the case anymore, so many phones out there that it probably saves them millions (still google won't publish how much they spend in bandwidth on youtube but it's probably the most of anything out there I'd say). |
I have big plans in mobile, i just need few more steps to finish first
|
We are in it to win it. Its definitely not too late.
