CandidHosting vs Phatservers
 

I've heard good stuff about both.

I want pros and cons, based on personal experience.

i've been with candid for well over 3 years. i have a shitload of servers with them, and have been extremely happy overall since moving to them in '99.

davidd is a god.

Davidd is god he is really there when you need him

Moose always sends me pretty flowers with chocolates, and Mike (the tech) is always writing me dirty notes over email

phatservers all the way


talk to moose.. he will give you a good price

Candid has slightly better bandwidth quality, but higher prices.

Both techs (David D and Mike) kick ass.

Otherwise, it's a tossup.

I've been with both hosts now, we are currently with Phatservers. (Me and BV)

We just set up a couple servers with Candid and they're pretty sharp folks. Like the previous posts mentioned, DavidD knows his stuff.

The servers run quick too...

Both are solid choices. Best of luck with your decision! You probably can't go wrong either way.

I also wanted an opinion of how they compared to each other.

but i know you always give them a thumbs up when they're mentioned. i'm sure you bring in a ton of new clients to them by word of mouth. they should name their hosting facilities after you or something ;)
