I'll be buying at least one to test out... if it's as good as they say I may wire my entire house with them ><

vdbucks 05-23-2012 06:29 AM

I won't be pre-ordering though...

Preordering when I get home

pornguy 05-23-2012 06:46 AM

Really nice but going to be limited to what can really be done with it for a while.

DVTimes 05-23-2012 06:56 AM

Its very cheap ($70).

It will be interesting to see the apps for it.

I can see it used in shops.

Be interesting if you could intergrate it with a mobile phone.

It would also be interestingt if you could intergrate it with blue ray films. imagine a porn film where you could spank the models bottom using this.

Yes

They would be better off selling it to say appel who would sell them in millions rather than via a small website. Plus if you had backers such as appel your more likly to get people making apps for it. I wonder how many would want to jump in and make an app for somthing that is not a mainstream product.

It only works with apps that support it right? You can't use it with your normal apps so it would probably take a long time before the apps you use get support for it.

Konda 05-23-2012 08:07 AM

Also try to move your hand like that in that position for a few minutes. You won't last. So it's pretty useless.

Couple that with the fact no applications will support it and it's daed in the water. Only idiots would think it is a good UI.

Available for preorder. Fantastic unreal stuff for 70 bucks. instant buy for me

seeandsee 08-23-2012 05:13 AM

Maybe they found a way to catch movement with some cheap components, its era of small stuff and great ideas, so price tag is maybe even ok if their production cost is somehow low, or maybe they will sell lots on smaller profit margin, or maybe they will sell all to MS or APPLE after they shit their paints...

Aidoru 08-24-2012 12:45 PM

Cool parlour trick but seems useless on a practical level.

NaughtyRob 08-24-2012 12:59 PM

Incredibly baddass for video games.

2MuchMark 08-24-2012 01:04 PM

I won't be pre ordering but will definitely read the reviews and if they are fair to good I will definitely buy one. You can't go wrong for $70!

DWB 08-24-2012 01:41 PM

Really looking forward to the future to see all the bad ass stuff it brings us.

bronco67 08-24-2012 01:41 PM

I really don't want to be waving my arms around to control my computer...or a video game. This will go the way of voice commands.

alias 08-24-2012 02:18 PM

Using it to type with my cock right now actually.

Voice commands don't work because they haven't been fast enough, were prone to errors, and too literal. Voice works better when you use it along with standard interfaces such as keyboards and mice. Siri should be a big improvement and it looks like it is, but I haven't got to play with it yet.

The Microsoft Kinnect has so far proven to be a wildly popular interface. I don't use it for games myself but it works well when controlling my TV, watching movies, etc. And if you have ever watched people play games with it, it's amazing how well it works. It works so well that its actually fun as opposed to just being another gadget.

Antonio 08-24-2012 02:39 PM

yeah, all that pre-ordering stuff makes me go hmmmmmmm; I'll wait until / if it's released and then definitely buy one

PornMD 08-24-2012 02:45 PM

Been in preorder for 3+ months and no timetable on release despite the demos that have been done of it. Hmm.

it gesture to keyboard mapping

just like the Kinect using FAAST

so there is no need to write to the device, if you write an application that uses the mouse and keyboard you app will work with this device.

AllAboutCams 08-25-2012 01:50 AM

Looks good to me

Matyko 03-07-2013 02:50 AM

No not yet but plan to. I hope it works... looks like an amazing gadget and hopefully useful tool too.

bronco67 04-29-2013 08:05 AM

The last thing I want to do at my computer is wave my arms around. This is why I never use my Playstation move controllers.
