What are some suggestions of good mailing software to mail members/ex-members lists?

Interspire or ynot mail if you want it hosted are worth a look.

Yea I have looked into ynot... What about doing it yourself though off your own severs? My lists are not HUGE thats why I want to just do it on my own for the time being...

Interspire email marketer, you will need rdns, spf records, dkim maybe and a properly set up mail.domain.com mailserver etc.

Yeah of you're going to do bulk making definitely set up reverse DNS and OpenDKIM. domain.com is fine, mail.domain.com isn't needed so long as the reverse record exists and is right.

We have Over 160 Partners right now ... I think you will be Pleased with what we can do ..

that's what I do, I have my own mail server running IceWarp (www.icewarp.com ) and my own DNS server, very good mail server, been using it for about 8 yrs. then just get you a list program and you are on your way. I also use a program called extractor pro, been using it since like 1998, the company is long dead, but its a great program for extracting emails from receipts and cleaning out bad email addresses.
