So a bomb ( dead ) almost hit my house while I was at affiliate summit.
 

So i get a text from my wife saying the army and police just evacuated them due to a bomb falling from a helicopter

At the time they had no clue it was a dead training bomb

The guards (army???) don't deploy all that quickly, so there had to be some downtime. And nobody thought to check on if there was training in the area? And whoever was training, never thought to alert the local police?

Somebody might be getting fired!

i live in the town that houses the largest us army instillation - fort hood. The Army FBI and local police had it all shut down within 30 minutes. No national guard :P

They are constantly running drills but dropping a dead bomb was never the plan. It was an accident some how.

Right now they are still flying helicopters around my house.

Atleast a few times a week we have tanks going off rattling the house



Seeing tanks and hummers driving down the road is an everyday thing :P
