.htaccess question
 

Its possible to get htaccess to chose which index file to load first, html or php for example but i cannot remember how to do it. Anyone help please?
I'm building a new site and i want to hide the php page behind a html holding page until i have the php site set up how i'd like it.

DirectoryIndex index.html index.php
