Am I the only one who can't check ccbill stats today ( admin.ccbill.com ) with chrome.

I keep getting:

chrome never works with ccbill use FF or IE

I've always been able to login with chrome and check stats at least 2 days back. More than that and chrome just timeouts (while IE actually get to the stats eventually).

I'd say it's more sporadic, especially if you haven't dumped your offline files in a while...

:D

Hello Extreme,

Can you please provide me with the version of Chrome you are using, and the reports you are loading? We would like to take a look into this for you.

Fyi, I tried some join links on CCBill sites last week - and got similar responses. So this is not even admin, but pure join links.

Yeah, that's kind of a pain in the butt. I have to use FF. CCBill told me everything was optimized for IE, but that admin update doesn't want to cooperate.

Funny, it works fine for me in Chrome. Always has.

I use Chrome Version 19.0.1084.46 beta - on a mac. I am able to log in, but when I want to see stats I get nothing. No error messages, but no stats either.

MrGusMuller 05-14-2012 02:52 PM

Which stats are not displaying for you, are you referring to the main QuickStats area, or to a specific report?

Thank you for the specifics pertaining to the browser version and system you are using.

I spent a lot of time trying to get into the ccbill admin a few weeks ago, finally went back and forth with their support until I was told that Chrome wouldn't work with it. Switched to FF and exactly the same things worked fine. This is the only site I can't use chrome on, good thing I rarely need to use it.

Why is it that all the ccbill cam programs basically earn me nothing? Weird...

I wonder if any of your "development team" are the same people from five years ago, or were all of these team members in middle school five years ago? CCBill built some awesome stuff - the best APIs, with things like datalink and of course postback. The affiliate system used to be the best. Now the current team can't get the basics half way right - stats and login that actually work, for example. Was there some "cost cutting" involving the devs who cost more than $9 / hour?

Harsh, I know, but if it's true, perhaps someone should tell the bean counters that webmasters have noticed the difference. For the moment CCBill is still the best, probably, but only because you were so far ahead that it took the competition a couple of years to catch up.
