First Prison Break and now House. Damn.

When you hear Hugh Laurie's real accent it will blow your mind.

How many Americans here know Hughs' background?

It always amazes me when I see him in House and later see him in Black Adder or Jeeves And Wooster.

He knocked those two out of the park. He says he'll never do a show again but I wish he'd do Sherlock Holmes or another Victorian based show.

I've been watching, but it's absolutely terrible. They can barely hold on right now.

I like it, but it's not for everyone.

I like House but agree it has gotten stale lately its time to end it....

I knew about his accent years ago, as the wife and I saw him in a movie called "The Girl From Rio (Chica de Rio)."

I'm not amazed as much by his accent as by how many places he shows up. I thought it was hilarious that smart ass know-it-all House was also the goody-two-shoes dad in the Stuart Little movies.

I'm sad that House is ending, but at least they're going out on their own terms. Hugh Laurie was part of the decision to bring the show to an end this season. Much better than being canceled abruptly (a la HBO's "Hung").

That show got boring and repetitive, someone has a mystery illness, the first 3 guesses are wrong, he's acts pompous and fires someone, hires them back and in doing so has a revelation that leads to curing the patient.

There you go, every episode from every season.

i was just about to post the same basic thing. the show is very formulaic but i guess most shows are these days. my girlfriend enjoys it so i watch it with her sometimes but we all know whats gonna happen every week.

It's on the huge list of tv shows that I've never seen. Don't even know the premise.

I saw today that desperate housewives is ending too? I never saw it, but thought it ended years ago for some reason.

ROAD HOUSE

I have missed most of this season. One thing I will give House, it made Hugh Laurie sexy rather than just genius.

House is based on Sherlock Holmes. I doubt Laurie would like to repeat what is basically the same character when he's already fed up of playing House :)

I like A bit of Fry and Laurie. I barely consider him the same person.

If they kill off Wilson, I'm going to be inconsolable. I'll be all Castaway about it.
