Text advertising
 

For about two weeks, PornBlogger.com has been offering the possibility of text advertising. Text ads are cheap (only $1 per 1000 views), the clickthrough rate is good and users don't ignore them. Despite all that, webmasters don't seem to be very greedy purchasing them. What could be wrong, or should I just wait longer?

gothweb, keep in mind that the clickthrough rate can be over 2%, for good ads.

Yes, they do start immediately. I now receive about 5k per day but it's getting more and more. Furthermore, I have added 3 filler ads (they have a ctr of about 2%) for a little variation, so keep in mind it will take a little longer for your ads to be completed

So if I pay you $35 I'll have purchased your entire ad inventory for a week? ... errrrr sorry I forgot the fillers, so including your three filler ads, I guess you'd be booked solid for a month?

well, I just started, you must know that. And furthermore I have specials next friday and wednesday and I expect to receive 15k on each of those days.

I'm not having a go at you :) The fact is I am interested in purchasing non-blind click-through traffic. I simply wanted to understand how much traffic you have.

$1 CPM for a fucking text link!? You're outta your mind. I can buy a 120x600 banner spot for 40 cents CPM.
