If traffic is climbing and youre not updating whats the call...
 

If traffic is climbing and you are not doing shit to the site or even updating it at all do you start updating it more or do you leave it alone....what do you do?

I have been asking the same question. This has happened to me alot and I don't know what to do.

A site starts getting traffic , I update, the next day, traffic drops. It's like google doesn't want you to update it or something. :mad:

maybe google considers it a success and it's time to build another one/two/three ...

It's Google doing their crazy panda updates.

Pretty much nothing makes sense now.

Most likely would have dropped again without the update anyway.

Probably only went up because somebody above you got penalized.

Your focus is wrong.

Stop worrying about Google. Worry about creating a quality site that visitors like returning to. Your end result will be a quality site that Google likes and is making you money because visitors are returning.
