Anyone playing around with Adobe Edge?

I think it's nice, HTML version of their flash. It's what I'll be using this summer. Beats digging around and debugging any javascript for all the html5 animation. :winkwink:

We have it here on one of the Macs. It's pretty buggy and produces horrible code. It's definitely a work in progress.

Hype on the other hand works well and is 50 bucks on the App Store.

Thanks, I'll check it out. We'll probably stick with adobe though as all other inhouse projects use the suite.

Edge will only render CSS3, so forget Internet Explorer version below ver 9.

the iOS canvas is broken and the code produced wont run on iOS :helpme

Seriously, I would hold off investing any time in Edge as the future versions will most likely be very different from the current one.

YMMV.

Thanks for mentioning hype. After consulting with the heads of the department today this may be the way to go as they only use mac exclusively and licensing fees do matter to them.
