Yeah on the goatee it's been years, head is new.

BlackCrayon 04-30-2012 04:49 PM

i got it on the goat when i was around 31 or so, there is a bit starting on the head according to my girlfriend around the temple area and im only 34. not looking forward to getting more. i think you've done pretty well if you've managed to be grey free on your head till 42.

Axzar 04-30-2012 04:55 PM

Right around 30's.. Mid 40's now I am 70% white.

It's kinda nice to grow it long and then shave to a high and tight, takes 10+ years off. Chicks dig me for a day.

Same. And it is good to still have hair of any color.

AdultKing 04-30-2012 06:10 PM

First of them appeared about a year ago at 44, now every time I look in the mirror I see more and more.

I have never dyed my hair, so I have had grey hair for awhile (or white hair as men in my family are prone to do). I already have male pattern baldness near the back of my head too, but still wear my hair long, so although I have a bald spot, I wear a hat most of the time, so no one notices - or at least they are not looking me in the face when they notice). :Oh crap

At this stage in my life, I am happy to still have hair. :helpme

It seems like the age is too young. Good luck. :upsidedow

Matt 26z 04-30-2012 06:59 PM

32 when I first noticed them, but it seemed as though they'd probably been around awhile. My hair is a bit long and when I pulled it up above my ears I noticed a lot of grey hairs there on the sides (and thought "How could I have not noticed this before?!"). The hair on top coming down just covered those up for who knows how many years. So I went on a grey hair plucking spree with tweezers right then in a panic and must have pulled 30.

Flow 04-30-2012 07:07 PM

Mostly grey at 25, fully grey by 30

2MuchMark 04-30-2012 08:12 PM

47, and just a touch of of grey on my head and sideburns, but every time I decide I want to grow a 70's style Burt Reynolds 'stache, it comes out greyer than JFK's!

The Heron 04-30-2012 08:55 PM

This year, so 29

v4 media 05-01-2012 02:11 AM

Markul 05-01-2012 03:06 AM

I got my first grey hairs when I was 18, came after a car crash. After that no new appeared for the next 10 years or so. Now... more and more heh

Danny B 05-01-2012 03:31 AM

The first ones came out round 23 yo.
I'm 30 now and they're all over the place.

Jel 05-01-2012 03:53 AM

23/24 or so for me

AmeliaG 05-01-2012 06:31 AM

Mid to late twenties. I actually kind of love silver hair. Aesthetically, I like the color and all and find it attractive.

Evil Chris 05-01-2012 06:42 AM

I started noticing at age 22.

Choopa Phil 05-01-2012 06:56 AM

I've never know you without silver hair! lol
whats that about 12 years now?

Verbal 05-01-2012 07:06 AM

Mid 30's as well ... or shortly after my kids were born.

CDSmith 05-01-2012 07:12 AM

Eh, I saw the first one when I was in my late 20's or early 30's. Lots of people get the odd rogue one showing up early, no big deal.

It was about 5 years ago now, or mid 40's where the grays really started showing more. Now in my beard especially (goatee), it's got me thinking about getting some of that "just for men" stuff and getting it out of there. :D

Absolutely. My dome's been down to the 5 o'clock shadow for 4 years now.

It's very liberating.

Mutt 05-01-2012 07:49 AM

at 40 or 41 - it's been very gradual but i'm closing in on 48 next month and that gradual increase every year for the past 7 years adds up!

not sure if i'll ever try coloring it when i'm more gray than dark - most guys i know who have dyed their hair usually stop, guess they weren't ready to accept aging and then later on come to accept it.

check your balls - it ain't just your beard and head that gets gray!:helpme
