No more Mexico for me! Used to go once or twice every year....

Now Baja is nothing more than a drug corridor. Fuck that.

Typical stupidity from ignorant people..

Where does this "drug corridor" run from?

Do you really think 1000 mile peninsula with ONE road on it is a smart place to move drugs?

Go for it! Take it from me, Nothing will happen to you. At least not around the border towns. I've shot footage in Tijuana many times without any problems.

No one ever said they are smart. And more drugs move down that one road than you can imagine.

Nikki. Its not really a good idea to shoot porn here. Best to stick to Brazil Chile and places like that.

I spend a LOT of time in the Texas border towns and I go to Mexico frequently. With the exception of Juarez on the border of El Paso, Tx I have always felt safe. As a matter of fact when I first started going I was expecting a war zone since that is what the media would have you believe, and that fear mongering has killed the tourism to most of these towns which is a fucking shame.

Can you get shot? Of course, if you are there looking for drugs or stick your nose where it doesn't belong. But if you mind your own business and keep a low profile the violence is mostly relegated to the cartel people shooting each other. Every time I go to Mexico the people that own the bars and businesses are seriously grateful for any tourists.

The one thing you want to watch out for is the police. Don't get drunk and walk through the streets because you are asking to be harassed by a cop looking for a bribe. I haven't had to bribe a cop yet but from talking to the large expat populations in these towns I know it is inevitable. I also tend to keep a little money in my wallet and the rest hidden somewhere else on my body, just in case. The two safest towns that I go to are Ciudad Acuna, on the border of Del Rio, Tx, and Piedras Negras, about 100 miles away on the border of Eagle Pass, Tx.
