Tours w/o exits or With Exits
 

Hi All,
Until now, I've never worked with a company who offered tours without exit consoles... So I'd like to know which webmasters prefer... tours WITH exits or tours WITHOUT and WHY?

There is actually a few companies out there that don't have exit consoles, us being one of them.

If you want to get the most money out of your traffic, consoles seem to be the way to go.

Unless the affiliate doesn't get the credit for the exits, which is the case much of the time..

can you think of another way to pay affiliates ona free trial join without having consoles?
if so i would love to know.

We pay on all exits... I've heard people who prefer tours with exits and those who prefer them without exits...

100% with providing I get credited for the sale. Why waste the traffic? That's not saying I'll use something that's popup hell but to not use one or two exits is just plain daft.

On a pay per sign up program the $$ made off of the exits is figured into the payout, so you'd have to pay less if you didn't have consoles.

As for a partnership program, I think exits are fine as long as I get paid on them, but I don't like sending a surfer to console hell if I'm not getting paid for it.

I prefer tours without exit or entrance consoles (even when they are fully paid), and there are programs offering that. But I also understand when others have to put consoles or lower payout for a consolefree option.
I prefer the console free option because I promote several sites on a page, not just one, and if each has entrances/exits, surfers would be pissed off and leave the page without trying to take a look at other sponsors as well.

I prefer tours without exits. I don't mind it as much if I get credit for the exit sales. My first thought is maybe the sponsor will work harder on getting the sale, and a tour that converts if he's not so focused on getting paid by the other sponsors he's pushing in his exits so hard.

Personally I think you should have the option of either, with the non console tour paying at a lower rate.

Some traffic sources won't allow surfers to be sent to tours with consoles, and some poor saps actually don't like sending their surfers to consoles, so why not give them the option of doing that at a lower priced payout on per join systems?

Exit consoles are great and I think a must as long as you share with me. It is nice to have the option as sometimes you need a clean page to pop up as MY exit and not send them to hell. I hate it when a sponsor does an entrance popup. Give you r site a chance to convert before you move them on.

And on what type of traffic? Aren't they not allowed on many TGPs?

how about letting the affiliate choose the url of the exit traffic from the program's tours?

I don't think we are going to need to worry about exit sponsors for long. Did anyone see this:
