You can't get the bottles where you are?

When we were in Vegas for Internext I had to go across the street to the CVS pharmacy to get my coke so I could get the Mexican version. It's soooooo much better tasting!! LOL Chris made fun of me for doing that, but my tastebuds were happy with me :winkwink: |
I think it's just got sugarcane in it instead of fructose syrup, like that throwback stuff.
|
LOL ruth was so excited when she found mexican coke in vegas.
|
cartels probably dissolve some of the bodies of their rivals at the production plant and mix it into the coke to give it that flavor
|
Oh the soda :winkwink:
Yah that does taste pretty good! |

Been down there a few times, always heard the penalty for the getting caught with the wrong one is pretty steep. Anyway yes, Mexican coke (a-cola), great stuff. |
we use cane sugar in canada too, wonder if it tastes the same as over there..

Man, I remember trying that pepsi throwback and it took me back to my childhood in one taste. I haven't had a soda/pop in years now, but I sure remember that.

I like diet mexican coke even better.
|
It's always better in the bottle for some reason.
|
ow.. you guys are talking about soft drink... I will leave this thread...
|
I buy that stuff by the pallet at Costco! I don't even like Coke, but mexican coke is the BUSINESS!
|
Wish I could get it here, I drink the hell out of Pepsi Throwback and a really good local brand.. Fuck HFCS!

they use real old fashioned regular sugar in it, that's why it tastes so much better :2 cents:
jarritos are good too |
I don't think Canadian coke is any different from us coke. Its just that in Canada there are no laws in place that require mfgs to state specifically whether they are using high fructose corn syrup or regular sugar/glucose. If the label doesn't specifically state cane sugar then you are probably getting hfcs.
Edit: I see someone already mentioned this |

The big difference in coke here in Mex is that it is the old and real recipe. They never got new coke and then classic coke that was a mix of things. its the same and has been.
Mexico is one of the biggest consumers of coke in the world and I believe even ahead of the US. |
I like Coce in glass, it's just better!
|
Yeah there's an authentic mexican restaurant down the street I go to once a week that sells it. Good stuff.

I had no idea.

Yep, it's WAY better. It's because they use real sugar, not corn syrup. I get it at the grocery stores in Colorado.
|
I worked for Coca Cola for 9 years, I have a refurbished 66 cavalier coke machine that despenses 8 oz glass bottles. Coke has a bunch of different recipes. It differs depending on the country. They even still have the new coke in some places. Rule--Plastic bottle, corn sugar Glass bottle, Cane Sugar
|
just like beer, it's better drank out of glass than plastic or aluminum.
