Google Upto It again!

Has anyone else been hit hard by Google's latest update to supposedly target spam and over optimized sites? Google Webmaster board is on fire with fuming people.

Funny. All the experts here said nothing would change. That Google just tried to scare people. Experts on gfy being wrong. Jeesh, who would have thought.

Lichen 04-25-2012 12:09 PM

All positions down the drain, hope it comes back though...

pimpmaster9000 04-25-2012 12:13 PM

Its incredible the amount of shit results google has been giving me lately. I hope its a temporary thing because their new update looks like it was created by a blind chimp.

Has anybody had an older site drop in ranking? I can not tell yet but it seems to be affecting only sites that are 2-3 years old or less???

19teenporn 04-25-2012 12:15 PM

Fuck motherfucking google

tonyparra 04-25-2012 12:17 PM

Fishsex 04-25-2012 12:37 PM

2 sites nuked off the board, another one just mostly fucked

digitalfantasies 04-25-2012 12:48 PM

my main site is not completely thrown out of the serps, but has been hit hard for several very important keywords. I am not very happy right now

atom 04-25-2012 01:01 PM

see it happening across the network. Sites that had little SEO done but great content that was constantly updated have fallen off the map as well. These are adult and non adult sites.

Not exactly sure wtf Google is looking for but this sucks major dick. Funny how they just decide to fuck with peoples lively hood.

Domain age + Quality Backlinks + Branded presence (or appearance thereof) seems to almost make you immune. That's why they stay. It looks like the algorithmic penalties hit smaller sites harder and leaves the brands alone more. Lots of talk about this since Panda was first rolled out.

I think some of it is just ridiculous. They may as well remove all the crap and go back to ranking by pure relevance along with adding a "+1" and "-1" feature specific to the search phrase.

My two blogs that got hit hard were both 5-6 years old. Both of these site ranked in the top 3 for many keywords over the past few years. They were all original written content blogs with less the 2% max. keyword density for any keyword. I never use image tags or any seo and that has always worked well for me till today that is!

Huh? It's their site and can whatever they want. They don't owe you a thing.

Why don't you think so, rogueteens? The ones I see all over the first page for different terms have domains 3+ years old and lots of bac klinks. Many of which are paid or spam but Google isn't doing anything about them. It seems if you have good backlinks + domain age you can use scraped content and descriptions, templates, ads all over. Especially if you have a branded site. It almost looks like Google gives those sites credit as being the originals when they are not. But if you don't have those things solid the magnifying glass is on you.

pornguy 04-25-2012 02:21 PM

Yep more tubes up and more good results down. So far not much of a hit for me. :)

this is exactly what happened to me today, only I do use tags and some seo

Captain Kawaii 04-25-2012 02:37 PM

This is just Google's attempt to extort people to use adwords...we've taken hits and now serps filled with pirates, trash and some blank pages... lol.

Whats bizarre, because I expect the above from Google, thats just biz as usual, but what is bizarre, to me anyway, are the inclusion of blog posts from mainstream that are 5-10 years old.

I am hoping it will backfire on them and allow other engines better position in search biz.

The blogposts on google webmaster blogs are engaging.

Look at this result for the term viagra

http://www.google.com/#hl=en&output=...w=1280&bih=660

What a fucking joke.

beks001 04-25-2012 02:49 PM

I don't understand why all these tubes and torrent sites are ranking top spots...most are duplicate content, most are next to nothing for text and most are illegal content. What the heck!

I have few 8+ years websites gone to shit... but anyway you say brands don't fall, viagra.com is gone..

seeandsee 04-25-2012 02:51 PM

So i can go to their board and demand better positions :)

Those scrapers have masses more backlinks than you or I do.

SpeedoDave 04-25-2012 04:46 PM

About 6 weeks ago I lost about 1,000 unique/day from Google - looks like in the last 48hrs I've gotten that traffic back.

I dunno, a lot of the ones i see seem to be nothing more than scappy little DP members sites.

~Ray 04-25-2012 06:39 PM
