What are the best "adult" Merchant Accounts around?

In adult, I have always used a 3rd party processor. I am at the point where I need a merchant account.

I have so much flexibility with my mainstream merchant account and need one now that processes high risk.

Any recommendations?

Contact NetBilling ... they'll put you in touch with who you need to talk to and if you qualify for an adult merchant account they'll set it up on their system. It is a great system if you can bring your own merchant account, which they can point you to.

I have touched base with netbilling... they are a possible solution. I got a recommendation on this forum a long ass time ago...

it was... bill through CDG commerce and use authorize.net for gateway. This was for mainstream.

Well, CDG turns out to be an *awesome* bank, authorize.net not so much. But CDG recommended their own gateway which is awesome.

I'm kinda looking for that recommendation. I remember the guy who said that... he said this is what you use... thank me later. Well, if I could dig up that thread I would. Anyway, thank you.

My experience is limited to NetBilling, which I am logged into right now and love. I used authorize.net years ago before I was in adult ... I actually liked authorize.net though...

NetBilling also has customer service options available which is great for smaller companies that do not want to deal with the hassle ... call center, email, etc.

authorize.net stole at least $500 out of my bank account when I did not authorize it. I was looking for mainstream merchant accounts and filled out an application through who they were just acquired by, or who they just acquired. I can find out which one it was but they are shady as hell...

You sound like your pal. There has to be more to your story. I've used AuthNet for years and never had even a single problem.

you have a lot of balls making a statement like that after I have personally talked to you on ICQ when you were complaining about making no fucking money and asking me for suggestions.

FYI... it was cybersource.com that took my application for mainstream processing and fucking hammered me with a setup fee and monthly fees that totalled around $500 till I noticed the funds gone.

I suggest you have better tact in the future bigtymer

I've never spoken to you? You're confused or someone is pretending to be me.

what is your ICQ... I have hundreds and can't find yours.

I remember conversations from years back like they happened yesterday. It is a problem I have. Thank you for fucking up my thread looking for legit adult merchant accounts.

And I am glad that you have been successful with authorize.net... through cybersource.com they suggested I was filling out an application. In that application was to input bank information. Now, being stupid and what not, I did. They then immediately approved my merchant account (never any emails to suggest approval or anything), and they took it upon themselves to authorize the account and start deducting money from my bank account. That money totalled around $500.

We can talk later... maybe you are doing better with your sales. thank you for derailing my thread... authorize.net straight up stole out of my bank.

You can't find mine because I've never spoken to you. :winkwink: You joined in 2011. So how would I have even known you 2 or 3 years ago? It doesn't make sense. Whats your real username? And this convo isn't hurting your thread. Whats your ICQ # I'll send you a message later as I'm going back to using my iPhone and watching TV.

I had the same exact experience as Beaner with Authorize.net. Though in my case they only got 300 before I took the issue up with them and convinced them to return a portion of the money.

They set up their gateway promising they can get you a merchant account and immediately start charging gateway fees, which are much more expensive than Netbilling's $25/mo minimum. In my case this went on for months while they totally failed to provide the merchant account.

So I had a useless gateway to nowhere costing me over 100 a month.

I would be very happy to help you with this. We have outstanding long-term relationships with large banks in the EU that are giving very good rates for adult merchant accounts. Please contact me when you get a chance.

I had the same exact experience that you and Beaner had with authorize.net Its a horrible experience to go through and If you are not careful or lucky when they do that to a small company it has the potential to really do damage to your business if not destroy your business totally.
