A picture of me wearing seven of my watches at once (Omega, Sinn, Archimede, etc.)

http://i.imgur.com/WoFIT.jpg

A buddy of mine is a photographer who has never shot product photography before, so I headed over to his house a few nights ago so he could do some experimentation and I could show off my collection. We shot each watch individually, and then took this shot last for fun. I couldn't fit my vintage Citizen Bullhead or Seiko Kinetic on at the time, so they had to miss out on all the fun. Pictured:
Omega Speedmaster Professional 3573.50, Sinn U2 fully Tegimented, Archimede Automatic Pilot PVD 42mm, Boschett Cave Dweller, Seiko H558-5009, Some crummy Vostok, and a Casio G-shock AWG-101

If you are ever late for anything, you should be shot.

Chris 04-19-2012 06:58 AM

Exactly my point of interest too.

Choopa_Pardo 04-19-2012 07:25 AM

Like I said, Archimede Pilot. Made in Germany, swiss automatic movement. That was my first real watch. I love it. Great piece, highly recommended.

What time is it?

iSpyCams 04-19-2012 08:07 AM

Congradulations, you're a douche.

Choopa_Pardo 04-19-2012 08:11 AM

I clearly only wear one at a time like a normal person.

Since when does having a hobby make a person a douche?

That is somewhat embarrassing ...

biskoppen 04-19-2012 08:28 AM

Why would anyone be wearing a watch when everybody has a mobile phone in their pocket

Why have a car when you have a bike or legs?

I had all but one of these wartches before I started working in webhosting.

Oh, the old 'but my cellphone tells time argument." Love that one. It's not just about knowing what time it is.

We all have our vices. Collecting timepieces just happens to be mine.

I'm not about to post pictures of all my dead hookers. These fools clearly can't appreciate my fine collection of timepieces, so they won't be able to appreciate my collection of dead Vietnamese hookers from the fine state of New Jersey.

different mentalities... :winkwink:

americans love to show what they achieved and others will try to accomplish the same.

europeans very often rather hide their wealth because it can harm their business - jealousy is very common.

just last weekend i heard from a successful company owner how his bakery in his hometown lost 50% of its revenue after he bought a Porsche.
and when i was still employed and bought a Porsche (a used 968), my boss asked me to park around the corner from now on when i was visiting clients.

Yep.

Worst part is you could spend £20k on a ford and all they would see is the ford badge and not care. Spend £5k on an old porsche and they will see the porsche badge and decide you are overcharging to be able to afford one :disgust
