Hmmm. How many in our industry have already been to prison?

Free health and dental care? I can understand health care but dental care for many is a luxury. I wonder if that includes cleanings every 6 months, etc.

Reminds me of the guy that robbed a bank for $1 so he could go to prison to get healthcare for free.

My old ex is at Leath in SC and they only get about 10 channels, VA prisons are the same way. You'll get like FOX, TBS, Discovery, and a few others but that's it.

When I did 6 months in the US, (in 2006/2007) there certainly wasn't any internet access...

But the rest is accurate enough...

No Secret - I overstayed my visa and got deported, but while I was waiting to be sent back, I was inside for 6 months...

You were in jail for 6 months waiting to be deported? I thought they only held the mexicans for that long...

Thank God Im Canadian, I never have to worry about going broke over a medical issue or having my insurance company fuck me over because they found a way out :D

Yeah, 6 months actually IN Jail, and about a week and a half at either end, in processing centers... Didn't have a passport, or ID etc, and cause I was from a bit further away, they were in no rush.

Still, I hold ZERO animosity - I chose to overstay, and knew the risks, so I just sucked it up and did my time :)

Just another twisted reality...

It all depends on who you know. Our school system was apparently broke but somehow got a few million for our robotics program and they bought me a top of the line workstation for CAD and 3dStudio that no one else was allowed to touch but the theatre dept couldn't even afford new lighting gels... :Oh crap

I had a choice to go to a rich suburban school but I like to get straight As without trying.. :upsidedow
