we still rent so no idea, probably not upgraded since FPL isn't doing it that fast and here they can't even get the water meter right so we have to split the water between all apartments in the building...

They put one on my house 5 months ago. It doesnt look very smart to me.

We have them in the UK - Can't even get the internet on it....

I have one on my house in Boca.

Pissed I can not get real time readings over the internet and have to wait for the billing cycle to end in order to read it over the internet. Just sent something to FP&L about it earlier today.

The power company told us we would have real time info to help manage our power use and help save us money:disgust

What also pisses me off if you sell back to the grid you can not use these "smart meters" either.

I think my project for this winter is to work on getting off the grid in Florida. Pannels are down another 10% already this year.
