Just ran my second hun gallery yesterday, and it rocked just like the first one. The Hun = Free Porn = Good for business!

Seems to me there are a bunch of myths floating around about free porn, including:

(1) You shouldn?t show too much free stuff on your site.

Well, I always have a bunch of free movies on my site, and fairly long ones too that show the highlights and the money shot. I always figured the surfer was entitled to a full preview showing what they get. Sure, I guess you loose a few strokers typing with 1 hand on the keyboard, but if you have quality exclusive content they will still pay.

(2) Hun galleries loose money.

I burned up over 100 gig yesterday on mine, pulling 12.5 Mb/s at times. Ok, that costs me around $29.00 in bandwidth, paid for by the time I got my second signup. So I definitely made money on my gallery.

What is wrong with porn right now is everybody pushing the same tired stuff, not the hun and other tgp galleries. I was talking with a guy the other day that has like 1,000 affiliates, can you guess that his sales are declining?

Last I looked, I had around 5. And while I?d welcome a few more, I?m kinda glad that when surfers see my galleries they are stll saying ?Holy shit, never seen that before!?

Yeah.. I had one on the Hun yesterday myself.. Pushed a ton of BW, but more then paid for it with sales. I was not a windfall, but it was a good day for that site and the conversion ratio was not bad at all.

Your ideas are correct I think, but it does not hold true for all free porn sites. Most as in 95% of them are just a waste of BW.

Well, you have to start with a high quality unique gallery. The hun likes stuff that is fresh and not overexposed too, from what I can see.

You have to have some cheap bandwidth or preferably a dedicated server. If you just have some virtual hosting at $2/gig you can easily burn up $200 - $400 bandwidth and possibly not even break even.

And I would not recommend a 10 M/bs capped server, as I was exceeding that a good part of the time.

The basic listing is free, although I guess the top spots are paid for.

So your only cost is the bandwith, and a little time to create the gallery.

Yeah dont use a virtual account to make galleries, I think I pay about ten cents a gig.
Good unique content and no misleading links will get you a listing.

Heh EscortBiz, weren't you the one that first suggested I try the hun? I really appreciate the suggestion - I have only been in this business a short while and still feeling my way around and trying things.

Its a real kick seeing 100,000 visitors cruise your site within a day from a single gallery, and its nice to find something actually works "right out of the gate" like the hun to supercharge a new site.

Free porn is like nukes. Probably better not to have them, but if they other guys got them, I want one too.

But basically my point is, there has always been free porn on the net, i.e., newsgroups then Kaaza, etc. The hun just made it so we can tap into it and make some sales off of it. If tgps were not around, the free porn addicts would just go to Kaaza or the newsgroups.

To me free porn just raises the bar some. I know I have to work harder and can't pass of 20 minutes of crap for $39.99 and call it a site.
