INDIANAPOLIS -- Police say an Indianapolis man forced a 10-year-old to have sex with his mother.

The Indianapolis Star reported Friday that 41-year-old Mark McCoy faces 27 felony counts and one misdemeanor count of charges including child molesting, child solicitation, criminal confinement and intimidation.

Court records say McCoy coerced the boy to have sex with the boy's 41-year-old mother. Records say the incidents also involved two others boys, ages 10 and 11. The woman tried but couldn't escape several times.

McCoy was arrested March 30 and was being held Friday at the Marion County Jail on $50,000 bond. It wasn't clear from jail records if he had an attorney. He's due in court May 15.

Police say he came under suspicion while under investigation in southern Indiana's Davies County.

Seriously? I think it is safe to say there were years of abuse leading up to this.

There was a time when the death penalty was not only a generally accepted practice but also applied to a number of specific crimes other than premeditated murder.
