How much worth for PR8 link?

Hi guys, how are you?

I am newbie here but I am into SEO field since 5 years, so I've got much experience in SEO.

I heard alot about GFY forum but I think it is only for adult webmasters, right?

Right now I want to sale some high quality high PR backlinks upto PR8 for mainstreams only.

And as I am newbie here so first of all I would need to make some reputation on this forum to sell links for a long term, right?

So guys everybody knows what is the worth of PR8 homepage/index page dofollow backlink and even a single PR8 backlink is enough to get PR7.

So please suggest me in how much I should sale PR8 link for a month?

By the way, I had a legitimate PR8 site once that I helped build from the ground up and it got popular 2004-2005. Received a few C&D's and shut it down forever.

Lots of xrumor run on this site. Some shitty PR checker sites show PR 8, while others PR 5, while others PR 0. Definitely looks to be fake/illegitimate PR.

Also what I noticed is he is pushing selling links in a ton of places in the last 48 hours trying to get some quick cash, always a red flag.

I owe this site and for making a trust I would recommend you to buy link only for a monthly basis to avoid risk.

so where did you check that its a fake PR?

Hell if I know, hence the "excuse my ignorance" part.

If somebody has fake PR8 domain and all of a sudden tons of links start showing up, I would think that might grab some attention. No?

I've read a few places that they do penalize for too many dofollow links in order to keep people from selling them. I looked into it when my PR dropped. Then I went back and changed the vast majority of my outlinks to nofollow and my PR went back up shortly after.

Could be a coincidence. Anyway, that's why I'm asking. I have worked hard to generate my PR and I would hate to lose any of it for any reason, especially something I can easily avoid like getting caught buying links.

Thanks for the input.

A good rule of thumb is to always assume that Google is smarter than you are. They put alot of energy, money, time and effort into dealing with what they perceive as spam.

Agreed. Not worth the risk of losing my PR, especially if I spend money to do it.

This piece of shit was doing this on Warrior Forum too I believe - if not him, it was someone else with the exact same schtick. Has some shitty looking "high PR site" (I think it was a PR 7) that he's selling links from and there were plenty of red flags to indicate the PR would update to something far lower, and he also said some variant of "I owe this site and for making a trust I would recommend you to buy link only for a monthly basis to avoid risk." On the next PR update I think it went down to 2 or 3.

Scam.
