Sponsors and Paypal
I've noticed that alot of sponsors aren't accepting paypal as a methond of payment for their surfers. Adultplatinum and lightspeed for example.
Aren't people using it more and more these days? Wouldn't it be a profitable option to give the surfer? |
:hi

Surfers are hardly using paypal to join even if they can, it's still 99% creditcard joins
|
No reason to use PayPal for US transactions as for international transactions it's a multi step process (2+ pages) that has to be approved before the transaction is allowed.
A good amount of sponsors filter on the signup form when they choose a country to signup. They use paypal for the banned countries by the different processors rather than giving them an option to signup from the front of the join page. As well the images on paypal are loaded in iso format and the crypt image is case sensitive and they don't state that it is. Not the most simple system to intergrate with either. |

The two sites I offer it see 1 in 4 using PayPal and most of those were scrubbed out from my primary (Authorize.Net). |

Lightspeed Media has talked to Pay Pal in the past, and we currently plan to have them installed in the next month. When we first contacted them they were unable to give us an automated option, and this has changed. Adding a new credit card processor to our stats program is a bit complicated and time consuming.
Why don't other companies use Pay Pal? Most companies use CCBill, Epoch, Globill, and even IBill. How many companies are we supposed to use? |
Figures I hear are 20% choose paypal...
I'm going to add them on my personal pages, and keep affiliates on the processor page, until I can find a way to sort it out. =) |
