my beef with review sites

I have 2,
1.My goal for my site is to have stuff that cant be stolen. So I have been focusing on flash animations and more recently a 3d game. I still have movies and pictures, but the focus is on the stuff that can't be stolen....MY BEEF....this stuff seems to be an afterthought to reviewers, they just focus on the movies and pics. The flash is "oh, there is some flash stuff"..even though I have flash updates every fricken day

2.I did my research before I started my site on what others in my niche where doing...I know how I compare, I just got a review where I scored significantly lower than a site that has about 20 movies that are just loops similar to my animations...but my animations are interactive...I have over 200 of them, I update every day.....oh and I have more actual movies...and I add a new one every other day,,,,so MY BEEF....compare the site you are reviewing to the other sites in that niche you have already reviewed!!!!!!!!!!! Is this really that hard?:disgust

Bro, a review site is not there to review your site. It is just an affiliate site.

ummm....then wouldn't be beneficial to them to give the best reviews to the best sites in any given niche to increase the chance of retention???.....I don't think that falls under guise of rocket science

...and flash is going down the drain.

everyone doing review is doing that from his own opinion. nobody is professional in any porn niche, everyone just knows what kind of sites is selling for him, and those sites are getting highest ratings. nobody will put great 3d sites up over some mofos or similar money makers ... it is like that, if you are running paysite you must know how to get your traffic, not think that review sites will make you sales ... it is nice additions, but it cannot be your main source, as it looks like it is ... have luck! :)

review sites dont really review anything.

they input fields and hit save and hope people join like the rest of us LOL

If the review site is using affiliate coded links -- the review is biased by their own affiliate conversions.

To some extent that is an accurate rating in their eyes. What is reviewed best is what makes them money -- what makes them money is what their customers that read their reviews buy.

Bottom line, it is all about the reviewed site's conversion rate.

Don't pay too much attention to the number. Most of them have their heads up their ass and have no idea what is good porn and what is not. Some of them will also give you better rankings and placement for more revshare or PPS. As Damian said, they are just affiliates who happen to have a lot of good traffic.

Make your site for your members, not for review sites.

can you post an example? the review sites I have the most experience with (Yelp, for example) are highly subjective, and there is little stopping a person spamming a competitor's Yelp page with bad reviews.
