Hey Producers.. I know most won't have a clue as what I am asking... but a Few Good Ones will.


We're shooting a non adult/small budget Psychological thriller.


Can you suggest a cheap pack of GELS to order kwik?

On a normal production your electricians would bring the gels along with other consumables, lights and distribution.

I bought mine from the dealer who sold the lights. Pretty normal. However here's a start to find what you need.

They ship the same day. Since they are only 90 miles from me, UPS ground arrives the next morning. I use them a lot for consumables - lamps, gels, etc. and their lighting actually does pretty well for cheap stuff. It's the same Chinese factories as Chauvet, American DJ, etc. It's not where we get our main color changers and moving heads, but I do have maybe six lighting units from them.
