no support on Saturday nights at Techie?

would be a first... and i am with them for 5-6 years now

would be a first that there is tech support on a saturday night OR that there isn't tech support on a saturday night?

i dont have any statistics about my hundreds of tickets over the years when exactly i made them and when they were answered but from my gut feeling i can say that every ticket was always answered within a reasonable timeframe.

and if i ever had a problem they couldnt fix, i emailed Wayne

nobody around responding to tickets since i got online about 10-12 hours ago.

I had a hardware issue yesterday, when it was the wee small hours of the morning in their neck of the woods, and had a reasonably prompt response.

I have been there for years and I do most of my week at midnight and they are always right on it. I had a ticket sit for thirty minutes like once in 10 years. Then add that I am a moron and they have to do everything. Great hosting company.

Wayne came through, site is back functioning. First time I've ever had a ticket there go unanswered for hours - so wondered if Saturday nights there is nobody working support.

It may be more about it being the middle of a long weekend than about Saturday nights Mutt.

But no matter when it happens I realize any amount of downtime sucks. Good thing Wayne came through (like always).

They used to have decent support years ago. Can not comment on current situation.
I do not recall it being 9 to 5 support

I do apologize for the gap between our last correspondence with you and the final "fixed" response. We had gathered all the info we needed at that time, but could have and should have given you more updates along the way, you are absolutely right about that.

The ticket just required an extensive amount of troubleshooting with the Ajax code to get that feature working correctly. It had nothing to do with it being Saturday night. Believe me, we have done much more than our fair share of tickets on Saturday nights over the last 12 years :winkwink: It?s just like any other shift here. :)
