iphone vs blackberry??
How do any of u former blackberry user deal with the switch?. I tried it for a while i couldn't get use to typing on some virtual keyboard i need a physical keyboard. Anyone else have the same problem.
I have a buddy with an iPhone and a Blackberry. He likes the Blackberry better for that very reason.
i used BB for years before the touch craze.
BB used to be the shit compared to other phones, however i do like my android phones. wish BB had a android os version heheh i prefer my BB keyboard to any touch screen and will forever miss it,... best keys ever |
I use a blackberry, iphone4S and an android phone and I'm the opposite prefer the touch screen so blackberry is my least favorite of the 3. Guess it depends what you started with and I started with a touch screen so using keys to me is painful.

touchscreen sucks balls for me...still stuck on bb keys
i am curious any webmasters here on iPhone or an android phone have any useful biz apps that are only on the android or iPhone that would make me want to switch from the blackberry??
iphone is very easy to get used to. Blame yourself.

I use to love BB then switched to iphone and would never use a BB again.
my vote goes to Iphone
iphone for me.. BB qwerty suck!
Blackberry for me! i also need a physical keyboard....
Time to get with the times, BB wont be around for that much longer so you might as well get used to a touch screen now :)
Iphone is easier to use than BB, mainly because of qwerty
after a few hours switching from BB to iPhone i dont know how i held out so long. Not sure if you view a lot of attachments on your BB but it is a huge improvement.
The BB lost because of the interface for surfing and GPS. Very hard to have everything in one if you have to have that big keyboard.
Took me about a week to get used to the iPhone virtual keyboard when I switched from BB, but it was well worth it. iOS is just much better, even for work and e-mails.
The think I miss most from BB is the LED notification. I setup my iPhone to flash on new notifications but it's literally blinding! |
i was anti iphone for a long time. loved my BB. Then i switched and realized what a piece of shit blackberry is. Its like browsing on a 56k modem with 256MB or RAM and a pentium 2 in 1995.

There are many Android phones with physical keyboards like BB. Sprint has quite a few.
I used Blackberry
The do make a few Android phones with physical keyboards.
iPhone for me
iPhone, I find switching the phone to its side to change it to the wider touch keyboard is much easier to type on.
BB for business
Touchscreen for personal use. |
I enjoy using my Blackberry 9900 for its awesome keyboard, LED and durability (I drop my phones by accident on a regular basis :Oh crap).
I enjoy my Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus for mobile websurfing, ereading and access to Android apps. being able to tether it to my Blackberry 9900 when I am out of the house is definitely a bonus. The 7" inch screen is my sweet spot when on the go. I enjoy my iPad2 for leisurely couch surfing and access to iOS including Facetime, iMessenger etc. The larger screen is definitely better for online shopping, admiring images and using apps with enhanced layouts. With this device combination I feel I am getting the best of all 3 worlds. :thumbsup |
definitely iPhone for me
