since all the ccbill talk, have u noticed no sales?
I waa seeing great conversions, since last sunday, ccbill has really, really sucked.
Anyone else? |
It's not just CCBILL.:2 cents:
|
It is semana santa (Easter) in Philippines and all of the chatters and carders from there are on holiday.
|
end of the month and first few days (payday) were pretty good, tailed off now.
|
i must say it kind of sucks here too ... but yes, i think semana santa, easter and similar shit takes this week over porn ... lets see after all that drunk holidays :)
|
I have not noticed any sort of decline in sales. Depends on various factors though, and not everyone will achieve the same results.
|
porn sales may decline but product sales and services are up, even ones that process via cbill heheh
|
The usual pps sales have been mediocre since march 31 for me but my ccbill paysite sales have been up
|
it is clear, affiliates sales are down, but paysite owners sales are up. as always :) paysite owners sales are always up, up, up, up, and one day they will close cause they are making no money lol

ccbill is a fucking joke. stuck in the 1990s, its takes 20+ submits to look up stats.
regarding sales ccbill is even more fucked up, they come in waves...2 weeks nothing then 2-3 days of wicked conversions then sales disappear again ccbill = seriously FUCKED UP |

It says form hits and then a number. I read that number as being part of the form submits and then it looks totally different.

every single one of them who we asked or should I say 100% of them all said thatthere is no such thing as a 0 sales day...so long as their are customers inside of the store...somebody is buying something.... However in our strange universe of adult merchandise.....you can have 7 days in a row of same traffic...but one or two of those might get you a big fat 0..... strange |

With all respect you need to brush up on your marketing. For Christians around the world this is the holiest week of the year. This happens every year and has done so for the 11 years I've had a porn site. I like you and Swirlsgirl a lot, that's why I'm making this post. Making multiple posts a week about CCBill being the problem doesn't help you make any more money. Seasoned online retailers, including porn sites, know these trends and they are completely different for brick and mortar establishments as Easter is a time when many people are shopping in stores for groceries & new clothes, getting gas & cleaning their cars as they are traveling to see relatives and going to social events as well as hosting guests at their home. Now . . . guess when sales will explode this month :winkwink: |
today was in the shitter from about 5am today till an hour ago..
|
Yup... March and April been crap so far... until today, when its been non-stop! I'll never work this industry out.

With all due respect to you and everyone else...how can one really know what sales are being lost when you are not even given reports or access to all "failed" transactions. Seriously we are not beginners or newbies here...we obviously have some idea what we are doing.... Sure Easter holidays might prove to be slow...but I never ever have been given a logical reason why the form hits do not die out with the slow down....the form hits and traffic remain consistent...the disconnect is the form submits.... The fact that Mike Flirt posted his hard data with respect to 600 clicks being sent to biller A and Biller B... Biller B out performed biller A 10 sales to 4 10 x 29.95 = $300.00 or 4 x 29.95 = $120.00 with 600 clicks each same traffic??? Thats potentially a $180.00 disconnect and a lot of coin left on the table ... could there really be a $180.00 difference in scrub settings? I can add that there did seem to be a high amount of transactions denied by bank this week.... so maybe the banks are short on their positions and cannot approve more than what they are holding...just a theory |
Every time I read one of these threads it's the same. I have CCBill and Epoch in a cascade. I can switch over Epoch instantly to test signups. Nothing changes, obviously if there was anything to this we would all be switching to other processors. For CCBill to scrub, there have to be applications to scrub.

Let me put this in language you can understand... TYjefkfdm VVCFGBiill!!!! fglfhjio IFAIL!! Conversions!!! CCBILL! I am CCBill affiliate 15053 and - yeah - things are fucking fine. |
Stop bitching ccbill, it's just a bad week... Unless you're doing 100+ a day there's not much data you have to make statements off and even with those numbers you have huge up and downs in sales. As ruff said, changing cascades will not make things better. Things will pickup next week
|
Let me add... When i started 15 years ago, sales where pretty stable, you had 10/20/30 sales each and everyday. Nowadays things are jumping up and down and you must stop looking at a per day period and focuss on the monthy numbers. The last couple of years sales are stable on a per month basis (at least for me) and my sales can differ from 50 to 200 day per
day, it just not making sense but you have to live with it.. At the end of the month it usually turning out good and average overall. There's not much logic in this business, for some weird reason people all on the planet decide to buy/not buy memerships, deal with that. |
Going...Going.....GONE :(

doing excellent with GFRenveue, maybe give them a try? (no ref code)

The time around Holy Week shows strong sales, usually. People are at home and have time to spend. It's just like the time following Christmas.
But this years sucks. Last week, I had zero new sales with CCBill while rebills do OK. |
I have a merchant account for mainstream. My bank originally asked how much I would bill, best guess. There was a time when I had to up my monthly billing amount. I had to request the change and give an explanation as to why I would be billing more.
I asked the question because of the *other* threads going around, who's billing for what groups and sites, and at the same time saw a *massive* drop in sales. |
from am affiliate program who does very impressive #'s ccbill is fucking useless to me.

There are approved sales that can be converted into denials... but that's not the worst part But I am so very relieved that the *test* transactions have a 350% success rate...always have |
I have to admit in looking month-to-date (including today) my CCbill sales an an affiliate are very good. That doesn't mean they aren't going to suck later on in the month though...
