With over 7 years of video encoding experience I can give your project the quality video customers desire and have it optimized for streaming. I can provide you with well commented scripts that will output anything your business needs to succeed.

On the last project I worked on I wrote a bash script that interfaced with php through a website to check for newly uploaded video. If found, the script would encode the video to webm for html5 and mp4 for playback through flashplayer. It would also create various sized thumbnails for the site, watermarked both the images and the video with the site's logo to protect the content. All this was done using open source software, such as the latest version of ffmpeg or libav (the ffmpeg fork) built with libx264, libvpx and other libraries to needed to achieve great results. I can build static binaries to use across many servers and have the knowledge to administer Linux servers that are Red Hat or Debian based.

Great content and high quality streaming video is what the customer wants and if you're not providing it they will find it elsewhere. When it comes to the latter I've got you covered!

My rate is $75/hour for smaller projects but if it's a large project we can discuss a set price.
