Imagine getting hit in the head by this.
Hailstones freak me out! These beauties rained down on Dallas/Fort Worth Area causing extensive damage. Let alone a bunch of tornadoes touching down in the area.

I wonder how insurance companies will screw people out of that damage.

I've never seen hail that big!

Holy cow, that's insane. I saw some reports and articles of the damage. Hope anyone/everyone you know in the area is safe.

Damn I wouldn't want to be I Texas right now.

Jings! Fuck getting hit with those indeed...
|
I was watching MSNBC when they were filming the tornadoes out there... watching trucks get pulled off the highway and flung far as hell... scary shit.

I once had 1" diameter hail stones damage my car and the roof on my house when I lived just east of Dallas. Called my agent, they sent out an adjuster, he said yep looks like hail damage and promptly sent a check (minus my deductible) for the amount agreed upon.
Its kind of hard for them to say there wasnt hail damage when so many others will be making claims as well and the damage is obvious. |

Years ago I worked for a company that did insurance claims on vehicles that had been damaged and were total losses. The company covered Montana and it seems like a few times per year they would get such crazy hail that it would destroy a couple of vehicles. They would sell them as salvage for about 35% of the sticker value. There were body shots that would buy the cars from the dealers, fix them and resell them. Once the body was fixed it was basically a brand new car only it was a salvage title so it was much cheaper.
