I just went through airport security from and to Phoenix. It was quick, easy, and painless. At the same time no flights have been hijacked in the US since 9/11.

Seems to be working for us.

One thing, I don't quite understand the "cost per gun found". Not one has belonged to a terrorist... because they didn't get a chance to use it? :1orglaugh I mean, if it were $6 million per bottle of Perrier water found I might understand, but we're talking about fucking guns. There's no doubt that at least one life has been saved, not cool to try and put a price on that. Plus $6 million to the government is like a few pennies to the average man. Your talking about the US Government. How fucking efficient do you expect them to be? Can it be done cheaper and better at the same time. I'm sure it can. But after what happened on 9/11 there was a mad rush to fix things, and in this case there was zero room for mistakes ... So they threw money at it.
