AMEX are butt heads, I had a girlfriend who I had just brokon up with and she took my card without me knowing it and charged over $30k of shopping in Beverly Hills before they called me to make sure it was alright and by then it was too late.

They found it disturbing that someone bought all the bukkake videos from a retailer

It was for 19,000 , IT was purchase for my book business.

I hate amx. A few years ago I got a thing to signup for a corporate amx card. The first bill I got there was like a $150 charge, a bullshit signup fee or whatever. I could find no documentation whatsoever that they were gonna charge that. So I called up, cancelled the card, and told them to fuck off. Woud never use them again.

Dude, everyone knows that Amex charges fees.

Seems to me if they called to see if it was ok, they were giving you the option of it being ok.. or not being ok, in which case it shouldn't have been too late for them to act on it..
But I guess it's water under the dam.. uh.. over the bridge..

They were calling when the card was about to go over $30K cause that was the usual amount I was charging per month on it at that time. So at that point I was able to at least stop it from going any higher, but my point was they should have seen it was all clothing and called me when the stores didn't fit the usual places I charged at, most of my charges were business related.
