Were there any webmasters that REALLY did DIE this past year?
 

So many bogus death announcements, just wondering if any webmasters really did kick the bucket recently or last year.

An adult industry guy, and pretty good online friend of mine came close. He's had two heart attacks in the past while. He needs one more operation, and then his bill will be around $200,000 US.. :(

I was thinking of starting an auction site to help him out, where people/companies could offer something to maybe take a little bit off the $200,000 weight off of him.. I can't imagine how much it pressure and stress it would put on someone, especially after not being well.

Yeh medical costs are out of site. I got into a healthcare side biz 2 years ago. The biz is just now starting to make some bucks.

My grandfather had cancer and was in and out of hospitals for over a year before he died and the kids nearly died too when they got the six figure hospital bill.

Yeah the Wizzo death was a real shocker - but its funny how you dread something like that happening, just to find out how much better life is after the fact -

I always used to confuse him with Archer. I guess I won't have to worry about that anymore. Sad.

I would wager that our high medical bills have a lot to do with huge malpractice fees.

When Americans sue, they sue big. Sometimes the huge settlements and such are justified, but others (multi-million dollar awards) are just plain crazy and jacking up medical bills more and more.
