I know this has been brought up probably but what's the final verdict for SEO and site performance with a blog url?

/category/postname

/postname

/date/postname

etc etc.

I wonder...does it even make a difference really?

Mix it up across your blogs.

Wordpress fixed all the performance issues associated with /postname, so I use that exclusively now...

you should use

yourblog.com/go-fuck-yourself

I use this:

/%category%/%postname%/

I just use postname. However I have older blogs I had started under the year/month permalink structure which rank 1st.

/%postname%/

/%postname%/%postname%/%postname%/%postname%/%postname%/
