I've always been told to "be careful firing that ammo you buy online" by a lot of people. Something about how it gouges the barrel and fucks up the gun in other ways.
Always bought my ammo at Wal-Mart, stuck with Winchester hollowpoints (cheapest around here I found by almost 10$/box).Comment

You can try to find the cheapest thing on line and end up with crap material or high shipping costs or you can use someone like ammoman and get great products from them and a good price.Comment

Me too. Guys selling ammo at gun shows buy it online then mark it up. Best price I ever saw at a gunshow was 1000 .223 rounds of PMC for $400 and that was from a HUGE HUGE gunstore chain. I'm sure they get rock bottom wholesale prices. Can still get better prices online.
