The movie is A+ , made the "Indiana Jones" style - it has everything a good action movie should have, but it's animated one. It has:

- humor
- action
- mystery
- quest
- adventure

My kids loved it, I love it - awesome!

Lykos 03-21-2012 12:41 PM

I gatta watch it now:)

NaughtyRob 03-21-2012 12:47 PM

Bought it last night for my 4 yr old son, we didnt watch it yet but the animation looks great.

Grapesoda 03-21-2012 12:49 PM

thanks guys... guess I'll pick it up

PR_Glen 03-21-2012 12:51 PM

was ok but it seemed like it was directed by someone on ritalin.. I know its supposed to have action but I was getting headaches trying to keep up with the pace of this mess...

animation was better than the story.

ottopottomouse 03-21-2012 01:03 PM

It's great if you've read the books. Only people i've known say it was shit hadn't.

candyflip 03-21-2012 03:04 PM

One of the best movies I saw last year.

fuzebox 03-21-2012 03:06 PM

I thought it was a lot of fun. Very true to the books which was cool.

georgeyw 03-21-2012 03:08 PM

It was an absolute load of shit.

michael.kickass 03-21-2012 03:09 PM

Pretty cool, I find it faithful to the comic books which was for me the most important aspect.

Godsmack 03-21-2012 03:34 PM

Watched it in 3D and it was amazing...

Emil 03-21-2012 03:46 PM

It was great

Far-L 03-21-2012 04:31 PM

Entertaining, solid B/B+ imo

CaptainHowdy 03-21-2012 04:31 PM

It was ... Tintin :Oh crap.

Darkhorse 03-21-2012 04:45 PM

I loved it as did the kids, it is a very frantic paced movie but I like the style it was done in.

Can't wait for the next one.

I almost watched it, on the way over to Barcelona, it was playing all around me on the plane. Then decided to lisiten to Leon Redbone all night instead.:winkwink:

bronco67 03-21-2012 05:38 PM

Watch it for the Andy Serkis performance. There's this scene in the middle of the movie where he's telling this story about his grandfather the pirate-- it was some pretty amazing shit. Rest of the movie--- ehh its ok.

Chosen 03-21-2012 11:09 PM

Haven't watched...

biskoppen 03-22-2012 06:40 AM

The amount of details in the graphics is amazing.. best computer animated movie I've ever seen..

MaDalton 03-22-2012 06:47 AM

just saw it on the plane and i have been a hardcore Tintin fan as a kid. it was pretty good, but at some point a guy gets shot with a machine gun so i am not sure if its a movie dedicated to 4 or 5 years olds. it's something for at least 10 years and older

that's such a cop out though.. movies were never intended to have required reading, they should be viewed as a separate entity. It's like when people say that the book was better than the movie, who cares? It's a 1.5 hour adaptation of a 100 hour story, what should be expected?

I don't think it was total shit by any means, i just thought the pace was ridiculous and the story was lacking a bit.

ruff 03-22-2012 08:04 AM

Just got it from Netflix yesterday. Going to watch it this weekend. I like Spielberg's work, so I figure this will be good.

John-ACWM 03-22-2012 10:38 AM

It was pretty entertaining, watched it on bluray.
