HBO cancels 'Luck'

I hope no dragons are killed on the Game of Thrones set, resulting in its cancellation. That will really mess up my Sunday nights now.

SOB i just started watching it the other week and i just got current. :Oh crap

It's sad that they couldn't protect the horses better. Today we can achieve this. Also shame to lose a great show, I think it has more to do with ratings than other things. Too hard to follow for some I suspect.

When a horse races, it's a big deal. There's lots of preparation, physical testing etc (as shown on Luck). Now imagine doing that with multiple takes. Some bad shit was bound to happen. There were a lot of horses running hard, multiple times -- casualties were an probably an inevitability.

But I'm not saying they did a great job watching after the horses.

I feel much better now ...

I have been watching it but can't say i like it. Horrible music to start, very slow and a cast of misfit losers. Woohoo what is not to like?

It was hard to get into it, just started getting a bit interesting the last episode:winkwink:

I watched the pilot, but I just didn't like any of the characters enough to care what happened to them. Seemed like it was going to be a bummer of a show.

The wife and I just had a pet euthanized the night before the pilot originally aired. When they put down the horse with the broken leg, we both freaked out. Even if I didn't have my pet put 'to sleep', i still don't like seeing that kind of thing on tv. :(

I've only given it my passive and not total attention and I have almost no clue how the characters relate to one another.

Fucking best show in years and it's canceled.

The opening song by Massive Attack was fucking great!

The plot/story was slow like in all HBO shows worth watching.

I didn't see a lot of losers. You must be referring the gamblers, who were only a small part of the actual story.
