The Black Keys - El Camino

Edguy - Age Of The Joker. "Pandora's Box" and "2 Out Of 7" are very good tracks.
Avantasia - Anything after 2005
Big Sugar - Revolutions Per Minute

Oh and I even liked Quiet Riots 2006 album "Rehab" (he died of OD after this album, ironic) Dark sounding but not angry. Just straight up meat n potatoes hard rock mixed in with some metal overtones

One of my favorites is from 2009: Alice in Chains -- Black Gives Way to Blue.

I don't like their old stuff, but this one has been really amazing.

There's a ton of those bands that sound like Sabbath.







I really don't mind rip off bands, as long as its a ripoff a band I like. If Sabbath isn't putting out music, this is the next best thing.

Speaking of Sabbath ripoffs, this album is pretty good.
