Gallery opinions, please.

is using my original GIF images with very little optimization. The total size of my custom images is 58.8KB.

is using images that I did some heavier optimization to. The total file sizes add up to 31.2KB

I am wondering if the drop in filesize is worth the loss in quality. I did my best to reduce the damaging effects during optimization, but I am still a little paranoid about it. Please have a look and let me know if the optimized images hold up OK.

General comments on the layout are welcome, too. This gallery is a pretty radical departure from my usual work.

What loss in quality? Seriously, I can't really tell, so used the optimized versions.

Thanks. I need some neutral eyes to tell me what they see. I know what I did to the images and I might just be seeing things that aren't there :)

Your eyes can decieve you, don't trust them...

Looks good here, I had to focus in just to tell the difference... There is some minor pixelation, but it looks good!
