Zappos Delivery Times

Placed a Zappos order yesterday at 3:34pm, opted for the slow-boat-from-China free shipping and the package is scheduled to be here in 15 minutes. Sent from KY to Oakland.

I checked their FAQ and it said any order placed before 1pm goes out same day. Any idea how big your business has to be to get UPS to service you round the clock?

That's some great service!

If you ever come to Vegas, I'd advise you to take a tour of their offices. They have an amazing customer service setup and their corporate culture is a lot of fun. A lot of other companies could learn a lot from these guys. Their prices are high, yet their customers don't care because the service is so good.

I haven't seen what I'd consider to be high prices. Their prices always seem very reasonable especially considering there's no tax or shipping.

I have a pair of Lacoste shoes I purchased from Nordstrom and I paid around $150 after tax. I bought the same pair in a different color from Zappos and I think it cost me around $110.
