Transferring ICQ history files

I'm switching ICQ to a different computer and want to rebuild my history files from the current computer. ICQ 7.5. I have looked everywhere online and cannot seem to figure it out.

Where are the history files located? How do I transfer them to a new set up?

Try this path

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_WINDOWS_LOGIN\Application Data\ICQ\ICQ_NUMBER

This is on Windows XP. I'm not finding the Application Data folder.

Probably need to enable 'show hidden folders & files' in windows

Yeah, Application Data is a normally hidden folder.

In Windows XP...

C:/Program Files/ICQ/

Then go through each directory in there. Basically look for your ICQ number... Alternatively, search the C drive for your ICQ number and it should come up with the directory.

I found the appropriate directory along with files called: messages.qdb and owner.qdb

I can only assume that this would be it. The messages file is half a gigabyte large, which sounds right. Any input?
