Spam Me with Dedicated Servers

Requirements:

20-30 mbit of bandwidth
managed
at least 30 gigs of storage
at least a gig of memory
standard stuff (mysql, php, ssh, etc)

Would be serving up mostly static content. I know somebody can do this at an affordable price, but I don't have to time to go from host to host asking for a custom quote. Post your best quote please!!!

www.surrealhost.com tell them alias sent you & ask for mrm he should be able to give u a decent deal

widget 02-08-2003 12:29 PM

See if he'll post a quote for me. I'm too busy/lazy to shop for quotes. In a perfect world, I'd visit this thread at the end of the day and have 4 options less than $2k to pick from. Then again this is only my second post on the board, so it's probably an elaborate spamming post. :throwup

Seriously, it's not. Post good deals please and help me find a new host quickly.

Today I need 20mbit. In a month I may need 25. In two months I may need 30 (hopefully I'll stop there). If I can get a much better deal on 30 now, I might do it. I know 10mbit is a big difference, but I hoped maybe you guys would say "20 mbit for $XXXX, 25 for $XXXX and 30 for $XXXX". But I ask for a lot I guess :)

widget 02-08-2003 12:46 PM

I don't think Reliable is managed.

Most hosts are willing to negotiate, but they're not going to undercut the prices they have on their sites on a public forum. (It'd piss off a lot of customers who are paying what's listed on that page)

If you posted your email address or some other way to contact you my guess is you'd get a lot more offers.

Hello Widget,

I have a proposition on my hands right now that can be of great interest to you...

Give me a shout when you get a chance.

Cyprusmedia is using Rackshack BW. (EV1.net = Rackshack)

This means there is Cogent in that BW, and its no better/worse than RackShack's availability/stability/etc.

Not saying this is good or bad, but its definitely NOT pure-Verio or other "pure-Tier 1" BW or Internap for that matter.

I'd guess its unmodified RS bandwidth based on the price.
