This article seems to think that Kuwait is now the fattest country in the world with many others gaining fast. We are still way up there, but many other countries including Mexico, several pacific islands and many European countries are gaining fast.

You can argue anything, for example, how do the really know the average weight in any country ? Did they weigh everyone ? All 311 million of us ? What about India all 1.17 billion ?

Not arguing that my friend, I am saying the photos presented are a stereotype, meant to portray all Americans, I have said there is a major problem with obesity in the USA, mostly caused by diet. I know very few people, myself included, that could not stand to lose a few pounds, but the phots infer that everyone in America is 500 lbs, and cannot find Europe on a globe, simply not the truth.

The problem in America is

1. Big plates served (at restaurants) - Good food!
2. Fast food everywhere - I LOVE fast food btw!
3. You have to drive everywhere

I am sure we can add another 20 points to this one. All a lethal combination.

In Europe, for instance, the fast food is adopted from America and surging fast. So the problem is already there too. However, people walk or bicycle more = at least some exercise.

Still, it is a world problem with origin in the USA - whether you like it or not.
