either way. Even the nuttiest of gun nuts would have to agree that they wouldn't want EVERYONE carrying around a fire arm....right?

We all know some unbalanced people in our lives, ones that may not belong in jail, but should never be armed or even around sharp objects! :1orglaugh

If you read it, it doesn't say that EVERYONE can carry. It says that those people that have a concealed carry licenses issued by the state, can carry on campus. I see no issue with that.

It should be legal everywhere. The people with permits are not the ones you have to worry about.

Actually without a concealed carry you can still carry just not concealed. In many states walking around holding a rifle or having a handgun worn old west style is perfectly legal.

The school could probably mandate that they wear an armband when on campus, lol. Or how about a security detail to escort them. Make it uncomfortable. Mark nearly every building as no guns allowed like other states. Something. If they wanted to.

How is it twisted? You have passed the background checks and requirements in order to have a concealed carry permit issued by the state. So you can carry everywhere, all around the campus, in the coffee house across the street, etc... but suddenly, as soon as you set foot on the actual college campus itself, you become a crazed gunman?

It's already legal on 70 university campuses across the US, and 15 states allow colleges to make their own rulings regarding this. Utah has made it legal on ALL campuses.

Yes, that's how dumb many gun lovers are. A lot of them completely lost touch with reality. Simply because they are so obsessed with their idea of having the "freedom to carry a gun".

Right. Tell that to all the people who accidently killed themselves or someone else. All responsible gun owners with a license. All of them. I never met someone who is a unresponsible gun owners. Never. They don't exist.

there are many places you cannot carry a concealed weapon even though you have a permit.

Parks, schools, bars etc,... have all been established gun free zones in most states by gun laws and advocates. Just becaue you have a carry permit doesnt mean you can bring your gun anywhere...

i hope this is real. more guns = safer schools. just think if one little fucker started shooting people. at least before he got to his 15th victim somebody could take him out. god bless us all

Why do you need a gun on campus?? This is absolutely ridiculous

more guns does not mean more peace...just means more drunk idiots to avoid...

the problem with more guns is that it is not a one person issue....you see the local thugs and gangs run in groups and if you are not in a group of armed men then you are probably not going to pull your weapon at all against an armed group....

also very few people are actually willing to help others....seen it with my own eyes 100x during the wars...the whole village was armed to the tooth but they would not help the one house being torched by just a few men...its human nature to pretend to be brave but then chicken out at the very slightest chance of being hurt...

people buy guns out of FEAR....fearful people do not make good heroes...guns are not for everybody...

makes a difference from taking an apple for the teacher.
