Food is spicy and hot. But avoid patronizing the food stands. Stick to the more established restaurants. If unsure, just go where there are many people eating.

Great night life, I used to go to Velvet, then Bar Rouge, then Mao every friday and saturday night. Miss it like hell.

i have heard of bar rouge and will probably hit that one for sure
adultsitecms...thanks i plan on doing just that, and switching from cdn to chinese once i arrive.
i think i am going to try the stinky tofu they sell at roadside food stands :)
