Ctrl + F (hit replace tab) in dreamweaver -- 'source code' -- 'all files in site'

I use UltraEdit, very easy to change multiple files. You can change full HTML strings, check it out: http://www.ultraedit.com/

Dreamweaver does find and replace very well.

There's also Editpad, which will do exactly this, search and replace among many many files.

I wrote a perl script once to do this in real time on the server. When a visitor came it would replace links with link codes and then serve the page. Also useful for when sponsors had promos and what not. Suppose it could be edited to check cookies and offer up a whole new set of "static" links to return visitors and shit like that too.

This has been another episode of man rambles on about stuff.

+1 for UltraEdit

I use it all the time for the macros as well but the newer versions are so much slower than what it used to be.
