    have more than 1 computer on your desk?

    just picked up a copy of teamviewer allows me to operate both machines from one machine... free for home use... allows me to dump a monitor and clean the desk up a bit..

    (...and no I can't use a switch because I use 2, 30' monitors set at 2560x1600 and no switch will handle that...)

      i cant afford a desk...

      but on top of the bricks and old peice of wood i use, i have an imac and a sony viao

      on top of an old sink, theres a spare hp laptop

              I use a combination of teamviewer and xbmc to run my HTPC from an iPad to avoid having to have a keyboard/mouse connected.

              side note: I mainly watch tv/movies with the HTPC but anytime people come over people are more impressed that I have Pandora playing on my home theater/tv with a pretty-looking XBMC plugin. I use a HTPC case that looks like a surround sound receiver so it's not obvious that a computer is sitting under my TV.

              I also have it on my 2nd desktop in my home office but since I leave a dedicated 4th monitor with a keyboard/mouse it's not quite as useful. If I ran the 2nd box headless than teamviewer would definately get heavy use.

              I have the Android version on my phone as well.

                          I have two computers. One is my main computer. The second computer is a HP touchscreen, which is used for just email. I keep my email up, and with the touchscreen I can quickly read, delete, or forward emails as needed. I don't need to run off of the same computer.

                                  I have 3, one is in need of repairs though, I need to lan boot it and reinstall it's OS because it has no DVD drive. The other two, a laptop and a desktop I control with one mouse/keyboard using input director.
