Am I gonna get in trouble making this easy ass money?

I stumbled into a way to make some very easy money.

I'm using a white label cosmetic supplier and making exaggerated claims about my product, actually exaggerated claims is a exaggerated understatement. I'm selling a pack of lies packaged in a box of deception. I don't have a lot of traffic and I'm only selling 3 or 4 units a month but I'm selling them for 150.00 profit per unit. My site gets about 20 uniques per day all from the search engines. I know this isn't much money but I can rinse and repeat very easily if I so choose, I'm just a bit concerned with selling such a gargantuan sack of shit.

My product is similar to penis enlargement but different. It seems the FTC would be the only folks who could sting me but great biscuits don't they have their hands full with the million dollar boys like Kevin Trudeau? That fucker sells shit he claims will cure cancer, he probably has caused the death of people with his lies. I'm just talking about some good ole Mr. Haney snake oil. Won't cause any harm to anyone other than to their pocket book. Separate a fool from his money game... What yall think....? Big trouble or smart gamble?

porno jew 03-04-2012 10:12 PM

should be no issues. just scale up now as big as you can for real money.

cooldude7 03-04-2012 10:21 PM

nothing is illegal until you get caught.

anexsia 03-04-2012 10:21 PM

Sounds like every penis pill sponsor here, should do well.

tical 03-04-2012 10:25 PM

FTC is screwing with people that use deceptive "news report / article" style lading pages with fake testimonials, etc... but tons of people use them anyway.

I've pushed skin care stuff for a while and know someone that got hit by the FTC hard for his landing pages... hit me up if you want to talk a little more about it my skype is tical525

CampHost 03-04-2012 10:35 PM

Wow... Thanks for the replies but I didn't expect those answers. I thought everyone would say I'm a fool and will ruin my life. Are there any examples of the FTC going after small time porn related products like penis enlargement? I'm not talking about the big money guys but small time shit that maybe pulls in 5K a month net. I wouldn't get greedy and I really doubt my ideas could ever make even that much. I do feel I could ramp it up along with a couple similar ideas to maybe 2 or 3K a month. How much risk would I be taking on doing something like this? Maybe I'm just paranoid about a knock at the door...

I realize this was big money but...

FTC and Acai Berry

Gotta make you not sleep well or would the FTC never fuck with small time sleazy porn related products that are a pack of lies?

Thanks and yea I read about the FTC and the fake news sites, I don't do that but I do have a bunch of fake testimonials. I got one chic from one of the freelance sites to make me a fake video testimonial. Like I said this is one enormous sack of shit, but it can't cause harm at all except to the wallet.

Hey I gotcha man and I can't deny that isn't something I ponder but I feel I get fucked about every other time I buy something. Shit my health care HumanaOne raised my rates 80 bucks this month and I've never filed a claim. So unless I want to join the monks I just gotta say fuck that shit. I ain't gonna try to sell a fake cure for diabetes or anything, but outside of causing harm I'm like who cares. I'm getting my ass ripped off monthly so I better keep on ripping asses myself.

maxjohan 03-04-2012 11:03 PM

Funny that you say that. I just changed my index page on my penis site, to "more coming here soon". I had made a sales letter there myself in swedish, a killer sales letter. Probably could make me a millionaire translating it to english. But I'm worrying like you, don't want to get in trouble for selling a bad product.

So I took the site down just minutes ago, changing approach now to a self help guide for men with small penises. Need to rewrite the whole deal.

That will make me less money probably, but at least I'm at safe waters.

Skin care, is still probably ten times better than penis products.
Like penis enlargement pills.
That's such a blatant scam, still Amazon.com sell those pills there.

So yes, making money is easy. All you need to do is find a legit product, and then claim that "your dreams" will come through if you buy it.

Short term gain, long term pain.if it's too risky, back out.shit eventually catches up to everybody

I understand completely your fears. About 3 or 4 months ago a state congressmen bought my product, I found out because I always search the name, email, and address of my buyers (I'm so freaking paranoid)... Anyway he was actually a former state rep who was running again and predicted to win. My mind said to me "this fucker is gonna use this/me to promote his campaign "I'm going to rid the internet of such scams" kinda thing... Anyway, I canceled his order and shut down my site for about a month. Later I said fuck it and re-opened. My last sale was to a preacher of a Episcopal church, I haven't canceled his order...I may just not have the balls for this, or I'm gonna have to ramp up my drinking...

What about this:

Go buy the domain NOSESIZE.COM (its available right now).
Build a simple one page sales letter full of lies and fake testimonials about how this cream will reduce the size of your nose, put a little SEO work into it also. Order a few hundred bottles from SKS and fill them with some cheap ass hand lotion you buy at wally world. Print a label and slap it on there. Guess what you got a money making business overnight... But is it safe? Is that insane to do?

I got a crap load of these stupid ideas based off the one test product I got going but not sure I can follow through...It just seems like one can't get away with such foolishness?

BTW, don't buy that domain name or I'm gonna be pissed! I'm thinking maybe a elastic eye patch type of thing that over time shrinks the nose, the opposite of what the penis stretchers do...:1orglaugh

So much for being able to plead not guilty when they kick your door down.

96ukssob 03-05-2012 12:10 AM

milk it as much as possible NOW, then sell it to someone else and let it be their problem :winkwink:

Now that is interesting... I read a few articles about getting in/out fast with these types of things. What would you consider a good time frame to stay in, before unloading or shutting down?

TidalWave 03-05-2012 12:19 AM

So what is your current idea you are trying to sell? Im curious lol

It's nothing special but I don't want to attach it to this thread. Its really no better than the NoseSize.com idea. Its just a complete and total lie that waits for someone appropriate (someone with a big ass nose) to stumble upon and say "I've finally found it! This will make me happy and popular!". It's also much more micro niche than nosesize...

epitome 03-05-2012 12:42 AM

To add some legitimacy you need to convert it into an MLM. Or even find some investors and make it a ponzi scheme. Apparently those two things are all of the rage these days.

In all seriousness, you've gotta be careful with the false testimonials and shit. Invest that money you are making in legal advice. You are unlikely on any radars now, but when/if the day comes...

Very good advice... Top notch!

CampHost 03-05-2012 01:15 AM

Well if the FTC comes after me I already know my defense... I was warped as a child because the FTC didn't protect me when I was vulnerable now they want to punish me because they failed me as a child.
About 35 years ago I used my allowance an ordered a product out of the back of my Life magazine and was so excited when it arrived. To my dismay it was a hunk of shit and didn't work....
I couldn't see any naked ladies with these bad boys...

Thanks for all the advice folks, really appreciate it... Fixen to slop down a plate of taters and call it a night. Best wishes to all...

Sounds like almost everything that sells in adult, including most paysites.

I don't see how this is any different from every acne medication, skin care product, etc. They all promise miracles of youthful appearances, clear skin, reduced lines and wrinkles, and not one of them do shit. If you go to a dermatologist, not one of them, anywhere, will recommend an over the counter product for any of the above.

Basically, you're doing what every other company out there today is doing, but on a much smaller scale.

Fletch XXX 03-05-2012 06:32 AM

be careful, good legal advice is never free, $150 chargebacks can sting.

Fletch XXX 03-05-2012 06:35 AM

ps i add this is from years of experience working hand in hand with penis pill makers and ads. Ive worked with many over he past decade, including some of the most popular.

my favorite was guy telling me specifically not to call it "an aphrodisiac" in the ads/banners.

"I cant say its an aprodisiac so dont use that word its a lie"

I looked at bottle to be used in all the ads, it said "aphrodisiac" right on the label of the bottle which of ourse was used in every ad i made.

LOL

Just some advice. Eventually, scamming is going to catch up with you. Why not focus on creating some actual value, instead of ripping people off?

One should always ask themselves; am I helping people or fucking them, am I making the world a better place or worse, am I instilling trust in others by my actions or creating more distrust. Spend your time screwing others and you will spend 10 lifetimes being screwed, which probably explains your vulnerability to Life magazine scams, you learned nothing.

It's just so easy making money with certain products. I guess some people get caught up in how easy it is to make money. Instead of looking at the broader picture.

But I agree, I have stopped with the "natural penis enlargement" ebooks. I finally felt that natural penis enlargement doesn't work either. Just like penis pills.
