fuck. I just moved my shoulder (nothing drastic) and something happened in there, it hurts like a motherfucker especially if I try to raise my hand or stretch it back, did I pinch a nerve or something? It hurts lika bitch and I need to move it slowly..grrrrrrr what could it be?

Pointless 02-08-2003 03:23 AM

CRINGE.......i dislocated my shoulder 7 times during college.

touch your shoulder with your other hand...does it feel higher or lower (sunken) than before???

the first time i dislocated my shoulder (girl dropped me during a drunken wheel barrow race..yeah.stupid) I had no idea what was wrong. I walked back to my apt and took some tylenol....then finally my roommate took me to the hospital...they put me under and popped me back in.

from then on it was ultra easy to pop it out by accident. I finally had surgery after college...nov 2001...now i'm golden.

socks...if you lose any feeling, rush to a hospital. a pinched nerve that is ignored could equal permanent loss of feeling.

but more likely than not...you moved it weird....strained the muscles or ligaments...and now they are sore...so don't worry :)

Definitely not dislocated, I can move it around, but if I do like two full circles it hurts so much I need to rest it on me belly.. Hurts on the way up, and then again on the way down, when I hit a certain spot. Probably like you said, pulled a muscle or something.. Thanks for the advice on the pinched nerves, if it does that I'll def hit the hospital. I need this arm!

from what you say....your ok. I learned a lot doing research for my own previous condition before I had the surgery to tighten up my shoulder so it wouldn't pop out ever again.

if you have no loss of feeling...and you can do complete circles then you just have a temporary injury caused by a momentary unnatural movement. The doc said that even one tiny stabilizer muscle can jerk involuntarily during a movement and cause that.

:thumbsup

you need a deep tissue massage administered by a naked asian 18yr old cutie....<thumbing through phone book>........what's yer address dood...<dialing>........fuck...all they have is a peruvian girl on call...that's close enough i guess...

hehe

man getting a dislocated shoulder is bad... did i first time skateboarding and then several times after that skateboarding as well... eventually i would sneeze and it would pop out... could never get it back in unless i went to hospital... surgery fixed mine and that was several years ago

sounds like u pinched a nerve or pulled a muscle or maybe tore a tendon or something....

x3guide 02-08-2003 04:09 AM

ahhh you'll be fine in an hour

I feel your pain. I had the same problem from playing tennis for 15 years. It wouldn't stop popping out so they opened me up, heated the capsule (the labrum), and now my shoulder is as tight as a virgin pussy!

Ouch! I dislocated my shoulder playing ice hockey 2 years ago. The ice rink has a policy that if you get injured, they call the ambulance to have them check you out. Sure enough, they load me up in the meat wagon and come to find out the EMT riding with me in back had his shoulder dislocated 21 times bull riding!!! WTF.. They had to put me under and pop it back in place. Man that hurt!

Anyways, Socks put some ice on it the first 48 hours and it should be okay.

Have a good weekend
